"We stayed for one night before getting on a cruise. The staff was fantastic! We had drinks and dinner in the bar that were very good! The room was very clean and had just what we needed for an overnight stay. It was nice to have a short walk to the cruise terminal the next morning."

"This was the perfect place to stay, and we will definitely be back! Girdwood is such a lovely area and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s close enough to Anchorage while also being super convenient to Whittier, which worked perfectly for our plans. We had a hike planned in Whittier and were heading to the Anchorage airport the following day, so Alpine Meadows was the perfect home base.The host was incredibly accommodating with both our check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. The cabin itself was so cozy and had everything we needed—we even ended the night playing Monopoly! It was such a fun, relaxing stay.We only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back to Alpine Meadows for a longer stay next time!"

"Eric has a wonderful property here. He has thought of everything a traveler could need. There was bear spray, bug spray, condiments in the fridge, and much more to add to your convenience. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need for cooking. I had no hopes of finding a blender that I use every morning but sure enough there was one. The bed is extremely comfortable. The bathroom is newly renovated and nice. I could go on but you get the picture. Would definitely recommend. The only thingI would mention is there is a long flight of stairs so if you have trouble carrying luggage or mobility issues this is not for you."

"We enjoyed our time in this cute A-frame with a beautiful view. It was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The availability of a washer and dryer was so helpful after doing outdoor activities and getting sweaty and wet. David was very responsive, as well. The location was great: right between Anchorage and Seward. Alyeska is a cute little town, as well. I recommend this property!"

"We loved the cabin with its beautiful windows and the cozy quilts. Nice comfy couches and a good location in easy reach of all the Girdwood attractions. Our only challenge was the confusion with their process. I was asked to submit my ID and credit card on a separate website despite using a prepaid platform (Expedia). It was concerning and not really explained by the hosts. Plenty of auto drafted messages explaining their process but I never felt like I had a person who I was talking to. Despite that it’s a well thought out set up. The loft mattresses are good- the bedroom one is very soft and was tough on the back. As far as budget stays go- it’s a good value."
