"I really needed a rest day on my Camino de Santiago, and the hotel was simple and perfect. Rooms are clean, oldies but goodies. At the bar-reception, Thiago was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a good, safe option, if you are not looking for luxuries but convenience. It's centrally located, blocks away from all the historic places, and close to all dining and bars in town."

"Staff were fabulous and very helpful. Lovely character hotel which could have been made something special with a bit of thought. Great location if you like staying in the centre of a town, not ideal if you don't. Very easy to find but the parking was dire. My room was of good size but needed updating I thought it expensive for what it was. It also was the hottest room I have ever stayed in with a little fan which was less than useless. Food was OK but nothing special. "

"A lovely hotel on the beachfront. Rooms are spacious but the bathrooms need refreshing. Some of the silicone around the bath was mouldy in parts. The hotel had no air conditioning so our sleep was disturbed. The bar was nice for a drink overlooking the sea. A very warm welcome and bags looked after on our early arrival. Parking at €19 is expensive for a small town with plenty of off street parking."

But the best part was Íker, who did everything from checking us in, deliver items to our room, wait our table, and give area recommendations. "Found this hotel as a stop on the way from Spain to France .Friendly welcome, the restaurants was busy and really good value. Our waitress was a real card and humorous with it. Cannot really fault this place The is an area just up the hill - the Old Town, almost a film set from Dickens well worth a wander around here too."
