"Slept so well in this quiet retreat in older part of town. On warmer days feel like sitting outside with the large sliding door open. Apartment appointed with anything you might need. Nearby pharmacy, bank, Casino and cafe and brasserie and restaurants within 1 km walk. Good takeaway kebab just steps out the door. Lovely market and easy town to use as base for visiting Lot and Cele area with many medieval towns, Peche Merle, etc. Would stay afain anytime back in this area."

"The place is hidden in Perigord, between the rivers Lot and Dordogne--which in summer is perfect to go swimming, canoeing, hiking in the area. There are culinary gems in Goujounac or Villefranche-du-Périgord--if you ask the locals. Be advised, though, that you need to travel considerable distances to get to places of interest. The place itself is kept in good condition, except for maybe a musty smell and an assorted mix of silverware and tableware, which seemed a bit thrown together."

"This is an annexe that has the owners stamp on it and is all the better for it. As a bijou gite for 1 or 2 people it’s ideal. Albas is a fabulous location with easy access to the river, cycle routes and the vineyards. The whole area is utterly gorgeous! The sheltered terrace is lovely private space and you get a real sense of being part of the village. "We stayed at Le Petit Soyc in August 2023. This is a fantastic villa. Accommodation is very comfortable. Plenty of room for 8 of us with room to spare. The layout is superb. The kitchen is big, modern and well equipped. The outdoor dining area is really good. The swimming pool, pool house and shade is also spot on. We had a fantastic stay. Temperature was over 40 degrees! Local area is peaceful and beautiful. I would definitely recommend 100%. Property owner is as fantastic as the villa!"

"The property is lovely. It had everything you could possibly want including games , books, bbq along with, every conceivable kitchen utensil. The owners provided very detailed instructions as to how to get there,how to get in, how to operate the appliances. It was brilliant. The property is in a gorgeous little village just a few metres along the road. We were also able to use the local campsite facilities too which was lovely."

"The property is very much as listed and we had a lovely 2 week stay. Swimming pool was used every day and the fussball table was also a hit with everyone. It was lovely to be tucked away with complete privacy despite being in a little village with neighbours. Overall everyone had a great time."
