"So, check-in was ok. Was asked for a name, no ID check (I'm not sure what I think of that) and no deposit needed/requested (which I'm happy about) and the lady at the desk went through all of the general stuff you'd expect them to. So, the room. It is modern looking, clean and better than the prior hotel we stayed in when we went to London last year. However, there are issues with this one, both safety and experience issues just like the other one but here they are: - Damp (water) patches around...

"Loved the freedom of Roseland House, the shared kitchen/dining/lounge room was amazing. Code for front door and room was much better than having a key,all worked perfectly. Comfy bed, plenty storage space and en-suite shower was great. Only a couple small moans….only mirror was in the bathroom so drying hair was difficult and somewhere to hang toiletries in shower cubicle would be handy.. Had a lovely stay, would definitely stay again, 😊👍"

"Simply a perfect stay! From check-in to check-out, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean, breakfast superb (well worth £5, that's for sure!) and make sure you try the homemade jam. "I had a room with balcony and sea view. The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. An enjoyable stay and fairly close proximity to maritime museum and some good restaurants. There is quite a steep hill to traverse, but parking is available at the quayside."
