➤ From July 2026, building works are taking place on a plot close to our accommodation. Although the noise disruption is very little for the majority of the construction time, there are moments where it can get noisy and we cannot predict the timing of these. So we prefer to be open about this, and give our guests a heads up.

➤ We usually welcome families with older children or responsible adults because the townhouse is part of a quiet condominium with lots of residential owners. The owners are safety conscious and feel that their property is not suitable for younger children (around 12 and under) which we ask our guests to respect when making a booking.
➤ Parties and other disturbances are not accepted.

## Neighborhood

Vale da Ribeira Residences is located in Mexilhoeira Grande, a quiet area of the Algarve, with the hills of Monchique to the north and coastal towns of Lagos and Portimão to the south. Only 10 minutes from the beach and 45 minutes drive from Faro Airport.

The little towns of Mexilhoeira Grande and Odiaxere are just around the corner, and each has small supermarkets and restaurants to cater to your needs when you want to avoid the bigger towns. The chicken restaurant and the pizzeria on the main street of Odiaxere are famous takeaway places in the area. For a truly local restaurant experience nearby, go to A Curva in Mexilhoeira Grande. The nearest big supermarket is located in Torre's brand new shopping area, between Odiaxere and Lagos.

Algarve International Circuit
Commonly referred to as Portimão Circuit, is a 4.653 km race circuit located in Portimão, Algarve region, Portugal. The development includes a karting track, off-road track, technology park, five-star hotel, sports complex and apartments.

Wakeboard
Vale Da Ribeira is located close to a renowned wakeboard training ground suited for beginners and professionals. Enjoy your day here, and challenge yourself by trying to complete the obstacle course.

Kitesurf
Enjoy your kitesurf session at the beautiful lagoon of Alvor with perfect wind conditions. Make it an unforgettable memory.

Surf & Paddle
Choose from the southern or western coast of the Algarve to ride some of the best waves in Europe. There are several packages and opportunities to take a class or an intensive course in Surf, bodyboard and stand-up paddle.

## Transit

Although you can find trains, buses and uber/taxi services in the area, a (hire) car is highly recommended for this accommodation as the house is in stand-alone urbanisation. Parking is free and easy next to the accommodation and free parking is readily available in most towns and beach areas.

To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival, we shall send you a link to our SEF form to complete and send back to us before your arrival. It is a mandatory requirement.
