"We enjoyed a week at the villa towards the end of April. The setting, scenery and views are even better than the photos of the property. It was a perfect base for us to explore the Costa Smeralda (Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and beautiful beaches) as well as historical sites in Arazchena. Golfo Aranci is also convenient for food, ice cream and boat tours. It was great to see some of the beauty of the island but the real joy was having access to the sea at the bottom of the garden. "The house is suitable for all ages and located about 15 minutes from La Cinta beach and about 18 minutes from San Teodoro, where there's more to do. Lovely and very responsive hosts! They were happy to make recommendations throughout the week. Well-stocked kitchen and wonderful outdoor area. While the bedrooms are comfortable, ask for warmer if you get cold at night sleeping with AC because as they only provide sheets and thin quilts."

"Superb host, always readily available. Stunning property in a highly desirable area near monte petrosu, close to all the stunning beaches and san Teodoro downtown, but away from noise. Very nice breeze given the house position. Very good parking space. Fenced in and secure for kids. Beautifully landscaped and maintained garden. Please read well the fine prints for the AC use so there are no unexpected questions. Highly recommended for families. Would come back again"

"We loved the Villa, very clean, our host was on hand very quickly if required and always happy to offer advice on places to visit and what to do. We hadn’t realised the air con was an added extra which was the only downside. Pool was amazing and the kitchen and entertaining areas were adequate for the ten of us. Loads of space and plenty of bedrooms. I would recommend as a holiday destination."

"This villa had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. Well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for all of us. There's a hotel opposite for breakfast or ice creams when you feel like it. The nearest beach is walking distance but we found it worthwhile getting a car to explore the area. Wonderful swimming all around. We'd love to come back!"

"Very private spacious villa with lovely pool away from everything. If you like complete privacy and don’t mind driving 15-20 mins to get to towns and beaches then this place is great! There is a small village nearby with supermarket and pharmacy for essentials. Villa very clean and great communication with Marcellino prior and during our holiday who was always available to message with any questions etc. Fully recommend"

"I couldn’t ask for more, such a lovely little cottage in the most perfect location. The house has everything you need, modern and new. Literally 3 feet out the door is the Tyrrhenian Sea, in all it’s clarity and deep turquoise and blue. Despite a couple days of rain, it was very comfortable and enjoyable. Hosts are very responsive and available if needed. Can’t wait to return!"

"The villa is beautiful, well equipped, nicely furnished and has air con throughout. It is a 5 minute walk to the closest beach (or 1 min drive) and about 5 mins drive to Brandinchi beach which is simply beautiful. Book ahead for Brandinchi or arrive very early - same can be said for all beaches. Dan Teodoro is 17 mins drive and bustling with nightlife, restaurants and is family friendly. There are also two complexes near the villa (Paradiso and the diving centre) which both have food options and...

"Villa Clizia is a lovely place to stay near the beach and now with the option of using a fully fenced swimming pool that is shared with the owner's place behind. Unfortunately the palm tree is no more. Cannigione is a nice, quiet, unpretentious town in the amazing north of Sardinia. Laconia is a 15 minute walk from Cannigione and has at least three good restaurants and a very nice beach."

"So the main problem was that the portion of the villa you get is the lower ground level underneath the owner’s private quarters. It felt quite claustrophobic. The other main issue was that the pool is up steep steps to the upper level and is overlooked by the owner. From the photographs on HomeAway you think you are getting a portion of the villa that overlooks the pool/sea. You don’t realise that you will be below stairs with no view. "Myself and my young family had a truly lovely stay at Juan and Mari’s beautiful house The location was was fantastic, like something out of the flinstines or Hanoi,surrounded by huge boulders and open sky. Amazing! It was abut in the fresh side so we did not get. "The hotel is in a nice location but that’s all, dated and in poor condition. There is no restaurant on site but some food ones around 3 mins away driving though. Worse mattress ever, which we requested change but that didn’t happened. Wouldn’t recommend it despite nice reception staff "
