  • Stay in a historical building situated in the middle of one of Portland's most beautiful blocks. Despite the quiet, leafy surroundings you will be only 2 blocks from Congress Street's best restaurants (Local 188, Tandem, Hot Suppa etc), bars (Bramhall, Ruskis) live music venues (Longfellow Square, Blue, State Theatre etc) and grocery \butcher(Rosemont Market, Fresh Approach). All the best restaurants and bars are on Congress Street, which you could walk to reach Old Port's tourist areas. 5 minute walk through a really nice neighborhood to Maine Medical Hospital (for traveling nurses).

This home is near the hospital which was the purpose of my visit. The home was adequate for my needs. However, there is no ventilation and it became very stuffy. Being able to open a window would have helped.
