Within a reasonable walking distance to the town centre and the restaurants/bars/shopping/sights there. The whole hotel team went to great lengths to look after us and no ask was too much. "The best thing about Angel Bay B&B is Sal and Nadia. The next best thing is the beautiful beach a short walk away. This review is for Americans: If you are looking for a glamorous beach hotel with a glitzy bar or pool, do NOT stay here. But, if you are looking for Italy, Italian warmth, people who feel like family, and the peace and calm of a small, lovely village, then Angel Bay B&B is for you. Angel Bay is a small B&B with just a few rooms. Our room was comfortable and lovely. The rooms have bookshelves and cloth boxes so there are lots of places to keep your things. The bathroom has lots of storage for things like makeup and lotion. I liked the big window that we could open to let in fresh air. Each room has its own Mitsubishi air conditioner (more than adequate) and TV (we didn't even turn ours on). The B&B has a big patio with a hammock, sofas, and tables and chairs. Breakfast is served there, but we loved sitting out there in the evening. We met some really nice people from all over. In the back, there is a big sink where you can wash clothes (there was also soap for that purpose if you needed it) and clotheslines and racks for wet clothes and swimsuits. Things dried really fast. Maybe a block away is the ocean, the public beach. And Sal has chairs and umbrellas you can use if you want that option. But...we rented umbrellas at Samana Lido just a little further down the road and loved it. The public beach was okay, but Samana Beach was like Waikiki."

" This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."

"Stayed here for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free bikes to use and a bus service into the city. Beaches 7 minutes by bike. Breakfast, ok, lots of fruit and croissants, buffet with waiter service for teas and coffee. Bar in both parts of the hotel and free teas and coffees. Great pool "
