This was an awesome location. So close to all of the activity in Porto. We parked right in front of the building. Very old building with some charm from days gone by.

What a beautiful place! We absolutely loved our room here and the view from our balcony was spectacular! The house has so much charm and character and was clean and close to everything.

We loved our stay at the Porto Tile House. It was quaint, comfortable, had a GREAT view of the Duoro River, and was close to the attractions in Porto. There was no A/C, but we opened the large balcony doors and there was a fan which cooled it off nicely. Pedro was great to work with when we had a hiccup in our travel plans. It was VERY safe and secure. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Lovely apartment

Excellent apartment with cute balcony and lovely view. Close to old town, great for sightseeing. Only negative is information book doesn’t contain information about places to see, the pages are blank. Also one bedside light switch was broken. Minor issues, didn’t detract from our stay.

The beauty of this place is it is a very old historical building and they have kept the charm. Because of the historical status there is not an elevator or air conditioning in the building. However we were able to navigate the stairs and a fan kept us very comfortable. The owner was very attentive to our needs.

We enjoyed 2 nights staying at tile house. 4th floor room (Miragaia) facing the river. The building is lovely and even better than the photos show with so many original features which had been preserved beautifully. Everything you needed for a short stay. There was some road noise but the amazing view more than made up for it. There is no lift so we did struggle a bit with our heavy suitcases (as this was part of a longer trip for us) . There is no designated free parking but we did manage to find a free park space outside without a problem. It is an easy flat walk into Porto and near a tram and bus stop. Overall we loved it and would recommend and stay there again if visiting Porto.
