Conveniently located 30 minutes from airport by metro. You can walk to all major attractions. Extremely clean and it smells good. If I had the chance to go back to Porto I will use this hotel again without hesitation.

The reception staff were excellent. They were very polite and offered tremendous assistance to our request. We felt like home. The rooms were spacious, tidy and comfortable. We were most impressive with the cleanliness of the rooms and the house keeping staff did an excellent job ! The hotel was a convenient place to stay with restaurants, shops and supermarkets located within walking distance. Glad that we made the right choice to stay in this hotel at Porto ! Definitely value for money ! Will certainly try Turim hotels in other cities !

Porto ohh Porto

Modern hotel within walking distance or all the sights. Metro a block away. Lots of restaurants close by. Breakfast on sight was good as we were there on Christmas and didn’t want to worry about looking for someplace open that day we tried it.

The hotel is within walking distance of the metro and all areas of Porto. The staff are very friendly and made you feel welcome. The room was lovely and modern with a minibar which is chargeable.

The hotel was conveniently located. Being across Trindade square it was easy to find when walking back to it. However, street noise at night was loud.

Beautiful hotel

Amazing hotel. The room we stayed in was the most 'basic' one available. However, it was far from that. The room was massive. The bed was super comfy, there were basic amenities (such as tea and coffee, shampoo, conditioner etc). It had a balcony which came as a pleasant surprise. It was clean, and the staff were so lovely. There was also a rooftop pool which we did not know about. However, this is currently closed due to ongoing renovations. The bar downstairs was very expensive but that really was the only downside, and if you walk 2 minutes outside the hotel, you can go into one of the shops and pick one up for a quarter of the price. Would highly recommend.

I averted a disaster.

What should have been a wonderful experience turned out to be a near disaster. My friend and I arrived at the hotel. We arrived for check-in and I was told that the booking was for one person; and that in order for me to add my friend, there would be an additional charge of $50 per night. I explained to the woman there had been a mistake mostly due to the loss of an internet connection, however, I found out through American Express that the first booking had actually gone through, but because of their Fraud protection, they canceled the first realizing it may have been a mistake. I asked if she could please make an exception for the reasons stated above. Her answers were always company policies but never said whether an exception could be made. So I presented the question in a different way, How would you feel if you were me? Knowing that it was a simple error that could easily be corrected? By this time I concluded she was unwilling to assist me. I called Hotels.com and Amex, and they both called the front desk, She told Amex " I don't care if he cancels the reservation or not I will not be giving him a refund" I asked her if I could speak to the manager and she said she had already spoken to him, but I wanted to see the expression on his face, but before that, I said this's what happens when you are honest. If I had not mentioned my friend we would not be having this conversation and you'd have never known the difference. Think about the situation, you decide.

From Turim Oporto Hotel, you can walk to Livraria Lello (Harry Potter Book Store), Market Bolhao and all the restaurants nearby. A short taxi ride takes you to Dom Luís I Bridge, which is a double-deck metal arch bridge that spans the river Douro between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Note: Sometimes traffic can increase the time it takes to cover short distances in a taxi. Give yourselves plenty of time to avoid missing tour schedules.

Frühstück war sehr gut , aber leider nur eine Kaffeemaschine für alle Gäste ( mit großen amerikanischen Reisegruppen !) Das Zimmer war leider mehrfach am Nachmittag noch nicht gereinigt, wenn man sich für den Abend frischmachen wollte - dadurch unschöne Wartezeiten.
