"We booked our stay at Campo Dell'Oro because it was near the airport and we had a super early departure the next morning. We were not expecting anything luxurious, but that is exactly waht we got! WE are SO happy that we arrived early enough to take advantage of the beautiful pool and bar area. The pool is gorgeous, the water was pristine and the perfect temperature! We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant; our food was amazing! I had the shrimp risotto and my husband enjoyed the Chef daily special of the local fish. Our server was great (a bonus that he knew English) and our night was perfect. Our room had a stunning view and the bed was super comfortable. A+"

"Room was simple and clean. Nice pool (swim with goggles!). My only complaint was the WiFi which, on the day I stayed, was too slow to do anything useful with. Heads-up that there are multiple places in Ajaccio with "Castel Vecchio" as the name. Make sure to use the correct address when finding this hotel."

"Very nice property. Very clean, well equiped. Excellent location with just a 1 minute walk to a great brasserie, boulangerie (with breakfast) and a charcuterie. Lots of restaurants 5 minutes walk away (Casabianca-excellent) Beach 100 metres away across the road. Great 'swimmers only' beach (no boats) a little further. Highly recommended."
