"We had a fabulous week here. The hotel is a bit dated but the friendliness of the staff and owner more than makeup for that. Breakfast was good and it’s a great location only a short walk from port restaurants and beach. Would happily stay here again. We were here without a car and for a week there was plenty to see and do as well as a little relaxation. Thoroughly recommend "

"This is a lovely hotel, stunning scenery of turquoise sea so try to get a sea view room if you can. It’s a 5 star hotel for sure. Beautifully planted gardens with herbs and flowers to take a walk through, we played tennis in the courts on the grounds and joined the free evening yoga class under a clear blue sky. The Spa delivered a wonderful massage. Everywhere you go, there is attention to detail with the free welcome drinks, clean, well-equipped rooms, marble bathroom, bathrobes and slippers, kettle and coffee making facilities, books, and we had a lovely balcony with lots of room and privacy. The staff are so helpful. Guest Relations took genuine interest in trying to find another room for me so I could be closer to my family. The sea really is crystal clear. And the pool is lovely. Really, I loved everything about it but please take note that you really do need a car if you stay here. You can easily spend the price of your flight on taxi fares to see anywhere else. There is a free shuttle to Porto Rotondo very close by, which we took. The driver offered to pick us up after dinner which we were very glad of but what he didn’t say is that as it was after the free window of time (last shuttle is 6:30pm), it would cost us €58 for that pick up and I only saw this at check out when I went to pay the bill. A trip to Porto Cervo was quoted at Euro130 one way. So we didn’t leave the hotel after that. Nevertheless if you want to just chill in amazing surroundings, this is a winner"

"The property at Gabbiano Azzurro was impeccable. The scenery, hotel and staff were all just beautiful!!! The restaurants at the Hotel were 5 star as well. We will be returning. Thank you for such a lovely time."

"Great spot 15 min away from Porto Cervo, Baja Sardinia and Palau, so very central to everything you’d need in the north east part of the island. Very clean, serene, quiet with great service including turn down service. Room service fee was expensive (12 euro) and we only ordered water but oh well. The breakfast is excellent"

"Hotel need to update in room iPhone charger on the wall. 4* resort like this must have this important charging device for their international travelers who is new to the country and doesn’t know which plug they use. Also, the lack of short staff at the restaurant make our waiting time for our meals to be ridiculously long.. Please hire more staff. "
