Vacation home in Porto Santo, Villa Girassol

Comfortable and welcoming, this vacation accommodation in Porto Santo is a great option.
With two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, it is ideal for families or groups of friends. This property has two floors. On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen, with a dining table, a small worktop and an open-plan living room, with a guest toilet, and on the first floor are the bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with a shower.
Outside, you can enjoy the barbecue, the patio with sunbathing area and the outdoor dining area, where you can taste the delights of the local cuisine after a day at the beach and strolling around Ilha Dourada. The house is located near the sunflower bar, one of the island's liveliest spots, and just a few minutes away from the golden sandy beach.
Free Wi-Fi, cable TV, air conditioning and private parking are some of the facilities included for your convenience during your stay. Villa Girassol is the ideal place to enjoy your vacation in Porto Santo. It can accommodate up to 4 people.

AREA
Porto Santo is a beautiful island located in the archipelago of Madeira, Portugal. Known for its main tourist attraction, its long 9km golden sandy beach along the south coast and stunning scenery, this paradise island attracts visitors in search of tranquility, natural beauty and a relaxing atmosphere.
The crystal clear water combined with the fine, soft sand provide a perfect environment for sunbathing and refreshing dips. In addition, the sand at Porto Santo Beach is believed to have therapeutic properties, which attracts visitors in search of health and wellness treatments.
Another must-see attraction is Pico do Castelo, the highest point on the island. Climbing to the top of this mountain offers an incredible panoramic view. It is possible to observe the beauty of the blue sea and the exuberant green vegetation that covers the island. Pico do Castelo also houses historical ruins, remnants of a fortress built in the 17th century.
The town of Vila Baleira, the island's capital, is also worth a visit. With its cobblestone streets, colorful and charming houses, this historic town, dating from 1418, offers a charming atmosphere. In the center of Vila Baleira is the Christopher Columbus House-Museum, an old house that houses a museum dedicated to the famous navigator.
Besides the attractions mentioned, Porto Santo Island also offers opportunities for water activities such as diving, sailing, and windsurfing. There are also a variety of restaurants serving delicious local cuisine.
Quinta das Palmeiras Mini-Botanical Zoo is 3.6 km from Villa Girassol. The nearest airport is Porto Santo Airport, 3.5 km from Villa Girassol.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
-We inform that a Municipal Tourist tax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Porto Santo. All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee.
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

We want you to feel at home. We do not ask for more than respect for neighbours and care for the property, in addition to not smoking inside the house.

Lovely rental with parking, near a beautiful beach

The unit was lovely. The outside area was definitely the highlight, with hammocks , a fire grill, and outdoor dining area. The neighborhood was peaceful. Parking was easy and free.
