Inside the sixteenth-century walls of Portoferraio, next to the entrance of Forte Stella, the Angoli del mare apartment offers a splendid view of the dock and a perfect location for exploring the city on foot. A few steps away are the Villa dei Mulini, Napoleon's residence, now a museum, and Forte Falcone. A few steps away is the beach of Le Viste, easily reachable on foot. A little further away, but still accessible without transport, the beach of Le Ghiaie, known for its crystal clear waters and the myth of the Argonauts. Further along the "Costa Bianca", you come across Padulella and Capo Bianco, with the characteristic white pebbles. Perfect for those who want to forget the car: restaurants, bars, shops, cinema and theatre are all within a short walk.
