"Hotel La Tavernetta was a very short stay. Hotel was clean & loved how they had a restaurant on premises. Walkable to wherever we wanted to go. Beach was not far, but did not have time to go. For the best food & great service, find Gigi’s. It was the best authentic food around"

"Breakfast was generous and staff very friendly. Front desk helpful with bags, maps and directions. Carpeting a little worse for wear. Very quiet except when anyone in an adjoining room (or overhead) used the toilet or shower. It sounded like there was water running in MY room. Very spooky"

"The location was excellent within walking distance of the castle, other sites of interest, shopping, and restaurants. Our loft type room was modern, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the included breakfast. Note: Parking was a bit confusing. We found a lot that was very close to our room which was in a different building location than the main hotel."

"Nice hotel less than 100m from the castle and piazza, and a 20 minute walk from the station. The room was comfortable, staff excellent and a good breakfast The shower cubicle was much too small, but this is very common."

"Very nice hotel. Honestly speaking it looks amazing on pics but is different in real life. Not much, but still different. Nevertheless, it is very nice hotel and personnel. Breakfast could be improved a bit to add more variety of food. Rooms are not brand new and have some signs of age, but it is very old construction building and such things including the size of the shower room are small because of this reason. The neighborhood is quite and safe. Very close to Ferrara historic center."
