"This property was quiet and peaceful a few miles north of Roseau with a great ocean view looking out the kitchen window. The plus is the nice setting. The minus is that it is far enough out of town and the Roseau valley that a car is required. The host communicated well and even found us a rental car before we arrived. His brother picked us up at the ferry dock and escorted us to the apartment. I would recommend this location. "

The support staff was there to greet us and provided transportation and commentary about the island and its resources. The view from the veranda was incredible and the sunrise is spectacular. "This was a treat to have beautiful sunsets each night. The local community was very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our meals at The Stone Ridge - where we took our catch of the day (Blue Marlin) and prepared a traditional, delicious meal for us. "The property is nestled away on the country side of the island. We stayed in the honeymoon suite only steps away from the ocean . The pool is made of stones and is refreshing , especially with a cocktail. We scheduled a couples massage with hot rocks and let the stress of the World melt away . What a lovely retreat with Nature ! We will be back soon!"

"This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. "
