The man at the front desk, Tom, was awesome. He gave us suggestions on where to eat and park and was very thorough about everything and super friendly. The hotel is being renovated so it's a work in progress but our room was comfortable and fairly quiet. Just stayed one night but it was sufficient for what we needed.

The front office staff were excellent, but the establishment is quite run down and dated. The room was clean enough, but the halls and stairs were grungy. They didn’t offer breakfast and the amount of plugs in the room for electronics were inadequate.

Property was convenient to downtown Portsmouth with just a few minutes drive. We could see the hotel is refreshing the rooms. Staff was friendly and informative. Would recommend for a quick stay and a place to rest. Not many amenities to hang out at the hotel for.

Don't judge a book by its cover

The outside of the building is dated, as to be expected. The rooms were modern, extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. All of the staff were extremely warm, yet professional. I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and the facility was clean but old and a little worn. Certain areas such as the pool were under renovations, and there was no breakfast at all. There was, however, a good diner within walking distance.
This is at Prescott Park. You cannot walk from the hotel but there was free parking on Pierce Island and it was a short walk to the park from there.
