Great child -friendly place to stay !

Very clean basic hotel but with comfort where it matters Rooms clean beds very comfortable Bedding clean and fresh Children's bunk beds solid and stable Shared bathroom and toilets clean and bright Lady on reception really really friendly and most helpful A good start for guests! 😊 Would definitely stay again especially with grandchildren Great location near beach front

One night stay

Perfect place for quick stop over or overnight, great for exploring a city or even backpacking. Enough beds for my group,separate shower snd toilets and a shared kitchen area ideal for quick meals or hot drinks.

Immediately after leaving I developed multiple bug bites which can only have come from bed bugs or similar -- otherwise OK for the price.

Ok

Stairs and passage ways excellent. Room ok clean and tidy, bathroom clean but shower works ok...but couldn’t get water to run in bath. Sink ok but stiff tap. Dining/kitchen room well equipped opposite office. Would stay again. Limited parking...good location.

Could be better.

The bed was very hard and squeaky however the bedding was clean apart from one small mark on one pilow. The towels were lovely and clean and soft. The bathroom had a dampish odour. Needs a little TLC.

This is not a hotel it’s more like a hostel the rooms are small the beds are small with only one bedside cabinet my wife couldn’t even wash her hair as there was no hair dryer the door entry system is awful with a code and not much light to see it late at night the only good thing is the location I would never stay there again and I think hotels.com need to go and see the place

Good location, basic but functional

Fantastic location, close to the beach and some nice small cafes/restaurants. Super set up with fridges and a small kitchenette. Clean and modern. Beds were very hard. Curtains did not block any light out so we were awake from 04.30. Apart from that a super stay.

Southsea does rock.

Nice, clean basic hotel. Staff helpful, facilities okay, if you are prepared to share a bathroom. Not sure how the dining room was meant to work. TV had intermittent breaks in viewing and limited channels. Good location close to the beach, pier, local Co-op and the bus passed by quite close. Southsea is a very nice vibrant town. Glad I went.

Clean and basic

Hotel is clean, tidy and basic. Kitchen is for all hotel stayers so there is no kettle in your room. It's located in a fantastic place right by the seafront. Staff are friendly and helpful. Just remember your photo id when checking in.

We were placed in a family room in the basement part of the hotel and on the other side of our room was the communal staircase - our beds were also next to this, wall so the children and ourselves were unable to get to sleep until early hours. The people above us were also very noisy and the soundproofing was poor in our room. We're leaving very tired.

Clean / tidy and suiable for us to catch the morning ferry. Parking facility essential, so possibly in high season may not be so lucky?? Maybe just a basic tea making in the room more convenient and a bit more room in the bathroom! But oveall it suited our needs.

The stuff was friendly first But I’m very disappointed my car worth more than all the cars was parked there and there was no car park I literally stayed over for 10 days cuz of my work Everyday I had issue to park my car I asked the reception night He said I have to pay them £10 I don’t know cuz of my expensive car or just they trying to fraud me Because on Hotels.com it says Free WiFi Ans Free parking But I never book there again cuz there is no space for car park Also one night I couldn’t find car park after driving round more than 30min for car park In the end I parked on drive way peivate and next morning the Nighbour be like Is that ur car don’t park there on my drive way And I explained whole situation And they were racist and dirty talking Anyways I’m regret I wasted my money on that hotel I had very bad experience
