Good and can be improved

Check in was fast. Phone number written outside the entrance door, made it convenient! A bit run down building curtains in the room were held with rusty pins so difficult to close and open. So was the sun blinds. Comfort level was good and spacious. Preferred to have boiling kettle and clothes hanging racks to be available. We did not use the washing facility, still had wet beach towels and bathing clothes to hang.

Village incroyable, reposant au bord de la mer

Nous sommes venu pour un mariage à Zadar qui est a 30 minutes en voiture. Nous sommes restés du lundi au samedi pour nous detendre, et ca etait le cas. L’hotel est situé dans un petit village super agreable, à 1 minute de la plage. La propriétaire et son mari sont très gentils et serviables.

Convenient to Paklenica NP and relaxing location

This hotel was a little hard to find at first, due to the way addresses work in Croatia. There was ample off-street parking and a little beach nearby. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful - she gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation (Restoran Pumpurela). This place (Vinjerac) has a very chill seaside atmosphere. The hotel is right on the edge of the water, next to a couple of restaurants and a small market. Our room at Tamarix was basically a studio apartment with a kitchen, queen bed, a desk, and a fold-out double bed. It was spacious and clean, with tile flooring throughout. Some quirks of this property: 1) we were located right next to the front desk, so we heard all the conversations and activity; 2) the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, just a high window that opened into the lobby area; 3) the room AC was remote-controlled and worked wonderfully; 4) there was nowhere to put toiletries in the shower except the floor; 5) we were given an actual metal room key and building key. We enjoyed the 14-hour storm that occurred while we were there - from about 8pm until 10am the next morning, even with the occasional brown-outs. We woke up really early and watched the lightning play across Paklenica/Velebit mountains across the bay, which we explored the day before and after the night we stayed here. Visit Paklenica National Park and the Vecka Kula castle ruins if you stay here. We would happily return for a longer stay.

Fantastisk oplevelse

Dejlig stor lejlighed med fantastisk udsigt over vandet. Lejligheden var i flot stand og servicen var i top. Byen er et lille lokalt fiskerleje hvor stemningen er skøn.

Small house in an idyllic fishing village

Located directly on the harbor and 50 meters from the small quiet beach. Rooms are big and very clean. The boss speaks Croatian, English, German and French. Very quiet little romantic fishing village with several good restaurants and a small grocery store. No ATM and no currency exchange in town! Well suited for romantics, honeymooners and peace seekers! The nearest major city is Zadar. The owner attaches importance to direct payment in kuna or euro, no credit card required. The view of the Velebit mountains is fantastic.

Härlig by och boende

Helt underbart boende i en liten gammal fiskeby. Trevligt hotell med möjlighet att köpa till frukost. Byn har endast en liten jourbutik och två restauranger. Tänk på att affären och restaurangerna inte tar kort.

Fantastisk beliggenhed direkte på havnen lige ned til vandet. Udsigten fra værelserne er outstanding. Fredelig og rolig lille by. Gratis Parkering ved hotellet. Der ligger kun en enkelt restaurant i byen, ( på havnen ) men her får man til gengæld noget dejlig veltillavet mad og menukortet er overraskende stort. Købmandsbutik med stort udvalg lige ved siden af hotellet. Pæne rene og ordentlige værelser. Et sted man meget gerne kommer tilbage til.

A quaint picturesque property In a small village on a bay With excellent service. Parking can be a challenge if you Have a large vehicle. Best grilled Octopus ever in one of Just three restaurants in town.

Lovely apartment with amazing views

The apartment is located in a real quiet village. Not too far from the A1 it is great for a stopover or a short relaxing break. The apartment was large (would sleep 5) and had a fully functioning kitchen. The views from the apartment are amazing and the owner was very helpful.
