"We loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. We were having trouble booking one of our ferries, and the front desk girl took time to call the company and was able to book. The food was incredible! The swimming pool and hotel grounds were so clean, and peaceful. We had a few relaxing pool days, and so much better than a resort in Mexico - not so busy and just lovely. "This place is a bit wonky--family-owned and operated, old-fashioned facility. Do you like having a garden with cats and a room with character but perhaps not all the amenities? You'll like this. The location, beach-wise, was great. My two adult kids stayed in this room. It took them a while to figure out how some things worked. But the price was right, the owner/operator was delightful, and they ended up very happy with it."
