Great family run hotel! We had a wonderful two-week stay in August for our honeymoon. The hotel is on a road so you can get dropped off or picked up right at the front entrance. Convenient location. The terrace was beautiful and perfect for enjoying breakfast every day! Staff were friendly and helpful!

My partner and i really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Il Gabbiano. Our room was a little small and outdated but extremely clean and the view was amazing! Breakfast was included every day and it was honestly something we looked forward to as we get to take in our view on the balcony every morning. Staff is always friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

View and cleanliness was definitely good. Staff were extremely rude. Barely helped with luggage. I had purchased a queen bed that ended up being 2 twins pushed together which made us fall in between and extremely uncomfortable.

What a fabulous experience at Hotel Il Gabbiano in Positano! ❤️ The hotel was absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean, but what truly made our stay special was the wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful from beginning to end. One of our favorite experiences was having breakfast delivered to our room. Sitting on our beautiful terrace, enjoying breakfast while looking out at the breathtaking views of Positano was simply unforgettable. The hotel also arranged our airport transfer, making everything so easy and seamless. Every detail of our stay was fantastic, and we would absolutely recommend Hotel Il Gabbiano to anyone visiting Positano. We left with beautiful memories that we will cherish! ❤️🇮🇹

What else can I say… if you come to Positano, this is THE place that worth a night or more! Breathless view fulfills all my imaginations about Summer In Italy. The lemon tree plus the breeze and blue sea and sky at this hotel is absolutely no beat. Great breakfast, awesome bar, lovely and clean room. What’s more, this hotel gets a crew of very friendly staff!

Room and bathroom very well equipped and updated. View from room was amazing! Breakfast on patio/balcony was especially nice. Staff goes to great lengths to ensure satisfaction. Many good restaurants are within 5 to 10 min walking distance I'm convinced that anyone traveling to Positano would be pleased with these accommodations. I WILL go back one day!

Only real complaint was there strict no unregistered guests in the hotel room policy. We shouldn't be relegated to hanging out with friends only in the common area of the hotel. We booked a room with a jacuzzi and had 0 complaints. Staff promptly fixed the few issues that we encountered, the views were to die for and the AC worked great. If you have friends on vacation with you, and they aren't staying at this hotel, would recommend looking elsewhere though, this policy is infantalizing for travelers from the United States.
