"This is a great villa with spectacular and compelling views. Lots of space with multiple bathrooms and a lovely pool which we used extensively. We enjoyed the local food and there are plenty of very reasonable restaurants and bars. "My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Rosa, it had something for all ages. We enjoyed walking to the local beach and bathing/playing in the crystal clear waters. The teenagers enjoyed snorkelling at the sunken city nearby and playing basketball/football near Epidavros harbour in the evenings. The highlight for me was a performance of The Trojan Women by Euripides at the big Epidavros theatre about 30 minutes drive away - a real treat, it even had projected subtitles! "Villa remained cool, even in 42C heatwave, being surrounded on three sides by verandas. We kept aircon at 27C and were really comfortable. Pool is lovely and has a great view. Gardens immaculate with our own lemons for G&Ts. Host Nancy welcomed us and showed us everything and was on call if needed. Nearby Kandia beach lovely especially at each end. Recommend Oyna Thatsa - Oyna Patsa fish restaurant on beach in Vivari, and Maria’s Minimarket in Drepano."
