"Was great and what we needed"

"We had a brilliant time, a spacious clean room, and the entire staff were so friendly and kind. We enjoyed the convenience of having dinner there every night. The included breakfast was perfect. Very convenient to everything in town."

"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

"Lovely pub with rooms. Nice, helpful staff, good food, clean - all I could want from a one night stay, visiting the area for work."

"Staff extremely helpful and polite, food was amazing."

"Great stay!"

"Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Room felt pretty basic. Place needs a lot of TLC."

"Nice golf course friendly staff and decent food. Rooms are ok too. Good value all round."

"No AC on this very warm summer stay, but otherwise wonderful. Great beach but not a long beach for walking. Great access to coastal path. Having pub right there was lovely."

"Brilliant stay , friendly staff and very peaceful"

"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do.
