Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Everything was perfect, nice and always friendly staff, good bed and nice location, close to everything. good breakfast. the only negative is their wifi, so slow that it is unusable. so make sure you have enough mobile data. Will definitely stay there again.
Excellent staff. Always willing to help with ideas for restaurants and how to move around the city.
Everything is within walking distance and convenient transportation.
Lovely modern clean hotel in a central location. Perfect for seeing the sights. Roof terrace which was a bonus. Metro and trams close by. Reception staff very friendly. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Would stay here again.
The Metropol design hotel is located right in the middle of Prague making every area easy to get to and all in walkable distance. The hotel is very modern, clean and the staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The rooms were basic very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast included was perfect, a buffet eat as much as you like which gave you the option of hot food (English breakfast) or cold continental style breakfast with plenty of different drink choices too. Overall I couldn’t of asked for better at this hotel, I recommend it to anybody and I would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful locating near streetcars & underground metro. Right in the heart of the city. East walking with dozens of food and drink options. Safe for all to walk and explore Prague. Highly recommend and the roof had unforgettable views throughout the day and night.
This hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the morning breakfast was really good. It had a wide variety of food to choose from and it tasted fresh and good quality. There was a rooftop terrace with beautiful views. I had a room for a single, it was perfect for me, as I was traveling solo. It may be tight with two people and luggage, but you could make it work if on a budget. The location was excellent. Walking distance to almost all of the big sites. A Tesco across the street which is very convenient. Easy access to trams. Plenty of restaurants near by. I did not have a car, so dont know about parking.
Convenient location, easy access to Old Town and transportation. Simple rooms but very comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast had basic offerings but great option to get your day started. Roof top views are wonderful. Overall and awesome property for a reasonable price. Would def stay here again and highly recommend.
I loved breaking the elevators. The only thing pleasurable and "mildly" entertaining about this hotel was the fun I had pressing every single button on the (only) elevator and watch it go slowwwly to every floor.
Otherwise, great place to walk to a shopping mall or two and dine, and take a tram/bus to places. Old Town is walkable from there. Beds are okay. Room I got was okay. I wish the fridge was bigger to accommodate food alongside the stuff already inside. Breakfast is decent if your an early bird.
On arrival the premises were clean and well maintained. Room was clean however no towels in the room on arrival. These had to be requested. Good shower.
Small breakfast but still adequate and something for everyone. Unfortunately I asked for dairy free alternative milk and was told they don’t have it. I had to go and buy my own. Which is unusual for a hotel chain to not provide a dairy alternative.
We were on the 2nd floor and facing a Main Street, the room was noisy until past midnight which isn’t ideal when you need a good nights sleep. Sleep was disturbed.
I loved the fact there were a lot of dining options in a near vicinity, and that it was easy to access all the well known tourist locations in Prague from here. However one thing that let us down was having to pay twice for the extras we consumed from the minibar despite having proof of the original payment
