Really nice hotel, lovely staff and a good varied breakfast. My room was more than enough for me and had all the facilities you need. I think some people would require more power plugs by the bed, it wasn't an issue for me. Bars and restaurants outside, including the old TV tower you can visit. Many trams go by the hotel meaning you can visit many things quickly. Overall I'd stay here again.

Great stay at Hotel Carlton!

This is a great hotel. Clean, comfortable, and located close to restaurants, supermarkets, and a major train station. You can walk to many points of interest right in the neighborhood. Public transportation is right outside the door from the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again when in Prague.

A Little Gem

The Carlton is conveniently located on a tram line and is only two stops from the main station. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is a supermarket across the street and plenty of dining options nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The staff at this hotel was incredibly friendly, from housekeeping to the front desk staff. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast is beyond amazing. The variety of options was fantastic, including a variety of coffee drinks, and ambience in the breakfast room just made me quite happy. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Great hotel in a good location with easy tram links to the old town. We had a large room with separate seating area which was clean and spacious. Hotel also offered a nice buffet breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful.

We truly like staying at Hotel Carlton, the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is good and filling, The tram is right there for you to ride downtown, or anywhere you would like to go, or just walk around the hotel area. There is a market right across the street that we like, and you can get your laundry done within 24 hours for a great price. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect for my short stay

All the staff were friendly and professional my room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice. The tram stops a short distance away and there are a number of connections nearby to other locations other than the centre.

I was a nice hotel, there is a supermarket in front, the tram to the center is 2 blocks away and very easy, the hotel is pink outside ( which I really liked ) the breakfast was good with many options. The only thing is that they kept slamming the doors and woke me up several days. I guess it was the other guest.

A full breakfast in the morning was very good, including many breads, cereals, cold cuts, fruit and some hot dishes. The staff, notably Blanka and Tomas were kind and helpful. Both were fluent in English , gave nearby restaurant suggestions, directions, and arranged a lunch to go for our early morning flight when we departed.We took public transit to tour the city and a tram stop was nearby. The room was clean and all amenities were in good working order. We were on the top floor had only skylights and not windows. A great experience visiting a fabulous city.

It is a nice property to stay. We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is conveniently located with Lipanska tram station just 3 mins walking. As Prague transportation is really good, we had no issues commuting to and from from the hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and cosy. All facilities were available. There is lift in the hotel. The hotel switches off the AC during winters so to make the room ventilated, we suggest to open windows for some time so that everybody can sleep comfortably. Towels provided were clean and washroom was also clean. Breakfast options were limited. With just a few meat and cheese options, no particular changes were there for 3 days we had breakfast there. I would suggest the hotel to add options to their breakfast spread. We had literally just eggs and bread on the 4rd day as there was no variety. Overall a good place to stay. Would love to stay here again if needed.

Excellent overnight trip

A very nice hotel in my favourite district in Prague. It is away from the crowded touristy zones, but still it is very easy to reach the center with the trams which stop right beside the hotel. The main train station is just 2-3 stops away with trams. My room was clean and looked elegant with a huge and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, lot of options to choose from, including hot (baked beans, sausages, scrambled eggs) and cold items, and everything was available and replenished quickly. There were even cakes and waffles available for breakfast! My room was absolutely quiet, no noise came from anywhere. As it seems to be an old building, the electrical sockets are at inconvenient places, and I had to unplug the lamp to be able to use the kettle for making coffee (coffee and tea are provided in the room which is very nice) The pillows were very uncomfortable for me, but as the bed was very comfy, it did no bother me much. Overall, Hotel Carlton is an excellent choice, and I would be happy to stay here next time I visit Prague.
