I recently stayed at Hotel Machova and wanted to share an important lesson I learned during my visit. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not using the safe at the reception to secure my cash while I was at the hotel. After I checked out the room, I discovered that the cash was missing. The hotel’s rules state that they are not responsible for lost personal belongings. It is ultimately my responsibility to keep my valuables secure. Overall, while the hotel itself was ok, this experience has taught me to be more vigilant with my belongings in the future.

Absolutely shocking

Things weren't great from the get go, the receptionist was super rude when we were checking in. We requested a non smoking room but we're given room 1 which was next to the smoking area and so the room smelt of smoke still. There's also no air conditioning so if you want to cool the room down you have to open the window at the smoking area. The walls are super thin so you can hear everything in the surrounding rooms and outside the rooms. It was incredibly noisey and doors were banging loudly till 1am. On the third day our toilet paper hadn't been topped up and we were running low, we asked for more and were told housekeeping would provide the next day. When we said we didn't have enough to get through the night they said they'd take a look. We never got any toilet roll. I'd never stay here again.

The location was convenient, not far from Jana Masaryka tram stop. The room was a bit small, but it was good enough. The breakfast was okay. The only bad things were that it wasn't very soundproof, I could hear too well when my neighbours arrived or left their room or what they talked in the corridor. Also the bathroom was a bit tricky. I'm a normal-sized person, but I had trouble getting to the shower as the closet door only opens partly and in the room the shower was in the corner behind the sink. But the price was good and so was the location for my needs, so all in all not a bad experience.

C'est okay

Le séjour s'est bien passé, le personnel est serviable, pas de problèmes majeures. 2 choses à noter: - La personne en charge du ménage laisse la fenêtre ouverte toute la journée (en fonction de l'heure où cette personne vient bien sûr) ce qui fait que le soir, on se fait piquer par pleins de bêtes qui ont donc pu rentrer dans la journée. Je pense que ce sont des moustiques mais bon 5 boutons qui grattent c'est pas top - Je pensais l'hotel beaucoup plus centrale dû aux avis que j'avais lu disant que la localisation était top, je ne dirai pas ça. la localisation est okay, pas trop mal mais pas génial non plus. Je trouve donc le rapport prix/emplacement/qualité pas top, assez cher pour ça. Autre point: j'ai l'habitude de m'endormir avec la tv allumée. Or, aucune chaîne internationale à regarder!

A bit inconvenience to park a car (for free). I can tell that may be difficult, but many hears are jammed with the floor carpet. Staffs are friendly and kind to support sightseeing. Breakfast is good.
