In dem Zimmer hat es ganz furchtbar gestunken so das ich erstmal zu Rossmann gehen musste und Duftsachen kaufen musste die das Zimmer dann ab dem zweiten Tag erträglicher gemacht haben. Das WiFi und der Fernseher waren leider ohne Funktion und an der Rezeption hieß es nur es gibt eine Störung und man könne nichts dran ändern.

Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, Siivous oli parasta Prahan hotelleissa, joissa olen ollut. Toisessa kerroksessa liikenteen meteli oli aika kovaa öisinkin, koska vilkas risteys.

Excellent transportation links to central Prague (just a few metres from tram and train stops), close to an ATM and a Tesco Express for basic needs. Carpet had stains on, curtains were thin and white, meaning you had to change in the bathroom if you needed privacy. Plug sockets temperamental, television signal bad. Disappointed that the bedsheets were not changed when requested a room clean. The sheets themselves smelt musty and old. Hotel staff were polite.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

The hotel room was okay, the day we arrived it was clean, but there was something in the corners of the wall which looked like mold. The room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay, even though we put the sign on the door which informed the staff our room needed to be cleaned. This meant no new towels and no clean room. The hotel room also looked old, the tv did not work even though the hotel adverts with it. The shower contained some hairs even though the room was cleaned before we got there. The breakfast was just good. Nothing special, but good. However, what we found strange was the fact that at 10AM (breakfast was till 10) the lights were switched off precisely on the minute and guests were expected to leave immediately even if they still had some coffee or something else. The distance from the hotel to the city was duable, especially because there was a good connection with public transport. All in all, we had expected more from this hotel, especially because it was rated as a four star hotel.

Das Personal an der Rezeptions, war äußerst nett und zuvorkommend. Jedoch war unser Badezimmer nicht sauber, die Wände und Möbel waren sehr abgenutzt und die stehende Luft in den Fluren richt nach Zigaretten.

The staff was very polite and have done almost everything to satisfy my requests. If you need a hotel at a reasonable price and not that far from the centre- this is your hotel. The bed was very comfy.

I was happy with my stay.

Ups: 24 hour reception, easy check-in/check-out, speedy elevator, public transport very close by, great personnel, mini-market close by, no-noise fridge in the room, clean bed and sheets and lots of towels, heating. Downs: My earplugs came in handy as my room faced the street, there was a problem with my key card - had it reset at the reception, it was easy to see that the interior was not new. Conclusion: Given the low price in early December and being a solo traveller, this was a very good deal, and I would be happy to come back.

Boas instalações mas faltou água quente um período

O hotel tem uma boa estrutura, quarto limpo, aconchegante e confortável. Porém duas noites seguidas por volta das 20:30h ficam sem água quente. No primeiro dia eles informaram que no dia seguinte um técnico iria ver o problema (mais 3 quartos reportaram o mesmo problema). Eles também nos ofereceram outro quarto, mas que só tinha uma cama de casal e estávamos com nosso filho. Escolhemos ficar e acabou que depois de uma meia hora a água quente voltou. No segundo dia faltou água quente de novo, mas em meia hora voltou.

Helt okej om man bara ska stanna några dagar. Med tanke på priset så kan man inte förvänta sig nåt bättre. Bra personal, katastrof städning ibland fick vi ingen städning alls fast att vi hängt skylten. Sa till i receptionen men hon var väldigt otrevlig. Buss tåg o spårvagn går utanför hotellet vilket är ett plus.

For those who may be attending tradeshows, Hotel Vitkov is on a bus line that goes straight to the location where tradeshows are often held. It is also on a tram line that goes straight to Mustek. The hotel is roughly in the middle: 25 minutes to a tradeshow/event at PVA, and about the same to the old city. For ME (personally), I enjoy having a comfortable seat at a desk to do work. Although this was not present, I DO NOT BLAME the hotel for this. I was travellng on a budget, and I knew that I would have to make some concessions. It seems that some people gave bad reviews of this hotel. I personally dd not experience anything 'bad' enough to turn me away. If I am on a budget, the next time I travel to PRG, I would consider staying here again. There is a TESCO food store across the street and there is at least one Asian food place close too. I felt quite satisfied with my stay there, which was five nights.

Hade rum ut mot gatan och trafiken väldigt störande trots stängda fönster, frukosten ok, men som varmt fanns endast äggröra och hårdkokta ägg! Men ett stort plus var trevlig personal samt att vill man åka kommunalt så var hållplatsen runt hörnet
