Perfect city break hotel

Lovely hotel, with comfortable, spacious rooms. Ample breakfast, with a good variety of food, in nearby sister hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for a 5 day trip, when you want to see the sights but enjoy a bit of time in the hotel, as well.

My favorite neighborhood in Prague just below the castle. The property is on a steep hill so if you have difficulty walking, it might not be the best option for you.

We loved the hotel and the area it is in. The hotel is very traditional, which is what we wanted. Our room was on the top floor, was very spacious and clean with good amenities and lovely views. It is very close to the Prague castle and nice restaurants. Good variety of food at breakfast and the food was very tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel. There is no lift which wasn’t a problem for us, but guests with mobility issues may struggle.

Great experience

The hotel exceeded my expectations. We booked a family room, but it felt more like a two-room apartment with a hallway in between. It was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with interesting details. The breakfast was served at the sister hotel, Golden Star, just 60 meters away—and it was very good. We’ll definitely return if we visit Prague again someday.

Beautifully renovated traditional hotel in a fantastic location. We arrived at midnight, very easy check in at the Golden Star. We booked a Junior suite for 2 adults and 2 children (expecting 2 bedrooms) and were happy to find an extra single bedroom in the large suite. Really comfortable beds, quiet and relaxing. Great breakfast at the Golden star. Excellent value, we look forward to returning.

Very good location. Just 5 mins walking to Prague Castle. Balcony is nice with a small garden. Room is clean and affordable for family with 2 or even 3 kids. Only problem is no ac. In summer it's really hot.

I was very pleasantly surprised at at this hotel. First, it is in the most perfect area near the castle and in the heart of all things Old Town. Second, while this property is old, the rustic charm is beautiful and unbeatable. Also, the room was huge! With a little balcony to go outside and enjoy. Last, the only down side was parking. If we didn’t need a car or to go to the airport so early, this would not have been an issue. If you don’t need a car, this is perfect! To get there, you do need to walk up a steep hill on cobblestones, so a rolling suitcase is not ideal. But overall, I really loved this hotel!

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff. Huge space, perfect for a family of four with beautifully painted ceiling. Very quiet - the only thing we heard was the church bells ringing in the mornings and a lovely view over the wooded hill. Great location just below Prague Castle which meant you could beat the crowds in the morning.Everything else within walking distance. We much preferred Mala Strana to the old town which was very busy and seedy in places. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Great Views, Location; Reception Lacking

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall positive experience. The view and environment were amazing, providing easy access to many historical places. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making it a really nice place to stay. However, I did encounter some issues with the reception, as the communication was not very friendly on a couple of occasions. Despite this, I would still recommend this hotel for its great location and quality rooms.

プラハらしい伝統的な建物、かわいい内装の部屋に泊まれて大満足です！毎日清掃にも入っていただき、水回りも清潔でした。ホテルまでの坂道は少し大変ですが、そこさえ頑張れればとても素敵なホテルです！スタッフの対応も良かったです。エレベーターはありません。

Albergo d'epoca e dunque col suo fascino, stanza familiare con spazi enormi e travi a vista. Pulizia perfetta, anche la colazione. Attenzione però che non c'è ascensore e neanche aria condizionata. Purtroppo le parti comuni sono abbandonate e non fanno un bel effetto. Per tutto bisogna rivolgersi ad un hotel lì vicino. Nel complesso è un po' più 3 stelle che 4, infatti il prezzo è molto buono, inferiore rispetto ad un altro 4 stelle.
