The staff were excellent and the breakfast was ran great. My only 2 complaints were my back was killing me after sleeping in my room because the bed was just a soft mattress pad on the loft with no support. Also the checkout was 10am so I had to pay extra to be able to checkout at a normal time but it was only $20 euros extra.

The lofts were really nice, it was like a home away from home. Location was ideal, about a 6 minute walk to Wenceslas square and 25 minutes to the Old Town Square. Breakfast was basic but fine, not many hot options for vegetarians but enough there to give you a good start to the day

Hotel was great location, great breakfast BUT The quad rooms only have beds in loft, 3 foot ceiling, steep ladder - not suitable for Seniors with many nightly bathroom visits

We booked the studio for our family of 4 and the attic is perfect for the kids. The sofabed took most of the room on the main floor but really nothing to complain about. It is a decent hotel. The breakfast is definitely a plus. You can also store your luggage for free if you arrive early and your room is not ready. The location is very good too, close to major tram/subway stations. Tram 22 is a must take.

Pros: staff were friendly, very clean eating room and buffet was kept up. Room was ready early, tea/kettle in room with fridge and small microwave. Could walk to a lot of sightseeing locations, Metro on a few blocks away & trams are close too. Cons: weak wifi, no one at the desk 24/7 for after hour concerns (ie: loud person above me until late, multiple nights), my room has some hair in both bathrooms Would recommend this place to others.

10/10 Stay!

Hotel S42 was the perfect stay in Prague! Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and all of the appliances were perfect for a few day stay with the majority of our time spent out and about. The front desk employees were very kind and helpful, and the overall experience was great. I definitely felt like the hotel was clean and safe, although the city in general is very safe. Having lived in Prague 2 previously, it was nice to be close to the small and quiet neighborhood with its charming cafes, but also right near all of the tram/train stations to get to the busier parts of town.

Our room was very comfortable and quiet. In a great location and easy access to the metro and trams. The reception ladies were wonderful, very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent with a large choice of hot and cold. On the down side we had no TV as we don't use pay TV only free to air in our country. For our 8 night stay out cups and glasses were not cleaned or changed, there cleaning of the room was replacing towels, and linen. If we visited Prague again I would definitely rebook here.

This room exceeded our expectations. The room and especially the bathroom was spotless clean. Roomy, bright, clean, quiet, within walking distance from Old Town. Ok, no breakfast or dining facilities but we didn't need that because we were out all day. We would definitely book again if visiting Prague. Only remark we would make is the carpet could be treated to remove stains but everything else was so clean and lovely.

The room was unbearably hot. The fan was not enough to cool down the room and the mezzanine was horribly hot. As a result, we had several sleepless sweaty nights. Convenient location and nice breakfast. There was no cleaning for 5 days, and we had to ask for the room to be cleaned.

The decor in the room was so nice! Everything looked pretty new (e.g. bathroom tiles and amenities). The room was just as in the pictures. The beds were super comfy and it really felt like we were chilling in our living room due to the cozy ambiance. The staff was nice and every service un general was intuitive and easy to use.

I was mislead that I will be staying at a hotel, I paid $739 through Expedia for 4 nights $40 at check in, I presumed we will be receiving daily housekeeping, trash taking out this standard service I am accustomed to was not included in room rate, in addition sofa bed was hard as a rock impossible to fall asleep on it plus the street noise, although Prague is gorgeous, I wish we had stayed at a much better property.
