"Fantastic location - walkable from Abraão, but with a feel of really being in the middle of nature. The view from the room is wonderful and we spent a lot of time just relaxing on the balcony. The staff were kind and helpful throughout and the breakfast was just right to get us energized for the day. The trail to Lopes Mendes is close to the property too. Visit the museum next door when staying. It is beautiful and interesting. Very much recommended"

"Nunca tem ninguém na recepção e o check-in começou as 14:30 devido a termos invadido e achado as funcionárias lá em cima. "My boyfriend and I came from New York City to Casa de Ilha for two nights. We had an amazing experience. First of all the view and the facility is incredible. It’s small with only 4 to 5 rooms. Each room has a private Jacuzzi overlooking the water. And there is a small private beach with chairs and umbrellas. They also had kayaks, paddle board and snorkeling equipment. The staff was super nice and attentive. Specifically Tao, was super helpful as he was one of the only English speakers. They made sure our stay was perfect. They even gave us a late checkout at 6pm on our last day (it cost extra). Breakfast is served at 8 AM or 9:30 AM and dinner is served at seven or 730 every day. The food was delicious. To enter/exit the island you could take a public speedboat or a private boat. We opted for the private boat so that we could stay a little bit longer. The last public speedboat was at 4 PM. Overall, if you are looking for a romantic, secluded, intimate getaway I would highly recommend staying here. It is more expensive than some of the options nearby but I think it was worth it just for the jacuzzi/private beach."
