"We had a short but excellent stay at Santiburi. The pool is huge, comfortable loungers aplenty and the beach area is also lovely with hammocks, bean bags and loungers. "Our private pool and good bathroom leading to large outdoor shower made it very inviting. Definitely worth paying the little bit extra for. Far enough from the main road to be nice and quiet, super beach and walking distance to the ferry pier. They are closing soon to upgrade but I only saw some minor plumbing issues that needed attention. "

This small restaurant is in Mae Nam on Koh Samui, Thailand. The sushi is the best we have had in Thailand or Malaysia! Everything here is delicious but make sure you get in early because the small, authentic looking restaurant fills up fast. The gyoza, ramen, sushi, and variety of sake keep us going back for more!

"This is true 5 star property. From the moment you check in you feel you are being treated royally and are in a luxury property. I was given a free upgrade to beachside bungalow with sea view throughout spacious room and and lovely large covered deck. The pool and beach were close by. This is one of largest most lovely designed I have seen on trip. Its infinity design, style and color truly are unique. It was a short walk to seaside. Only downside water was very very shallow. So could not swim only lounge in warm water. Breakfast was amazing buffet. Good choices for room service. Food was delicious. The staff was incredible so eager to please always with a smile. The grounds including gym and spa are spacious and beautiful. Only downside is property was not close to other restaurants, beaches or shopping areas. It’s a long expensive taxi ride to other areas. But I highly recommend this property. It was a vacation from my vacation!!"

"Everything was good aside from the smell coming from the bathroom but I think it’s a recurring problem in Thailand. Our check out was at 11 and the lady at the front dest was rooming around the property at 10:20 to make sure we were leaving. Then at 10:50 she came again as we were getting out and rushed us by taking some of our stuff out with us. We felt a little bit unwelcome at this time. I can understand they wanted us out by 11 but come on. "
