We stayed on Côte d’Or Beach and we are so glad we did! Beautiful clear, teal, calm waters, with little to no waves. The beach is large when it is low tide. Enough available dining options for lunch right off the beach.
Renting a car is a good idea to explore the island.
Overall people are very complacent and dont care about giving god service. They charge very high and being a small island choices are very limited. The attitude is 'take it or leave it - we dont care'
Don't miss visiting Vallée de Mai and dining at Pirogue Restaurant and Café des Arts
Best to be seen from a boat in my opinion.
This island is beautiful and remote.
