"This is a nice hotel in a small city. It is updated, clean and convenient to nearby attractions, and there is a wonderful full-service, fine dining restaurant on the property. The breakfast is very good. Service was wonderful - everyone was friendly and willing to go above and beyond to assist. There is also a nice pool and lobby bar. We will definitely stay here again if visiting Avellino."

"Ok, you have to visit this place!!! Its a renovated 1921 winery manor house on a hill in the country! Our warm and welcoming host, Antonio used a translation app to speak ti us. Because the property is in the middle of nowhere i asked about dunner, he then asked about our dietary requirements etc. when we arrived he said dinner would be st 8. Fair enough, when we came down at 8 he had an un-corked breathing bottle of his red wine , and a HUGE spread of Anti-pasto. Crusty fresh bread, 5 or so hot dishes, a fennel salad, local cheeses, prosciutto etc. It was fabulous. After stuffing ourselves for over an hour, he asked about our Second. We politely declined. The room was comfortable with a balcony over looking the countryside. In the morning when we walked out on the balcony we were met be the sounds of farm animals and a spectacular view. I highly recommend this quiet, beautiful, peaceful and delicious experience! Thank you Antonio. "

"Good location, clean, beautiful marble, recently renovated. However, please note that this is not a whole apartment. The listing still hasn't been corrected, you get a room or two depending on how many in your party, These 2 rooms share a door to the rest of the apartment and there is a toilet outside our room within our area with the 2 bedrooms. We were only a party of 2, so he kept the second bedroom locked. The kitchen and living are in the common area where there is also another bedroom that seems to be rented out via another site and guests for that room typically stayed a night during our stay. Different from what is listed - there is no BBQ and the host doesn't speak English. The terrace is below street level for the street it faces. We were told the on-property parking is too tight and difficult to use. Free parking on the street in front of the apartment is possible but tough beyond certain hours. What was most disturbing is that during the last few days of our stay, the host asked the cleaner to tell us that we need to move to another property, and that it would be at his expense (duh) because he has another booking. We were shocked. He was the one who took us to our room when we checked in. When we told him we don't want such an arrangement, he left it as-is without a reply. FYI."
