Like many other places on the Croatian coast, Sutomiscica was just a small fishing village before its charm and tranquillity began to attract tourists. The old town offers monuments from antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Nowadays, Zadar is known for the Sea Organ and the light installation "Pozdrav suncu" (Greeting to the Sun).
