The fishing off the dock was a highlight and the pedal boat, kayak and paddle boat provided fun for the children! The house is well equipped and Stephanie checked in during our stay. "Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! "

"My dog, Moon, and I had a wonderful, peaceful time at this rental this summer! This cabin is well-designed in a compact, very comfortable space. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals and the dining table has a wonderful view of Dark Cove. It was warm enough while I was there to eat breakfast and lunch out on the lakeside deck. We used the air conditioning when it became too hot. The bathroom shower is a full tub-sized shower, which is unusually spacious for a northern Maine camp! One day, I took a relaxing paddle around the island in one of the kayaks provided. My favorite part of our stay, however, was the neighborhood loon, who came by at least once a day to fish out front and occasionally serenade with a familiar loon yodel! I would highly recommend this rental. It is attached to a large family house behind it, but there was no one there during the time I rented, so it was very quiet."

We enjoyed hanging out at the picnic table and lounge chairs and using the dock to launch our small aluminum boat and float in the lake! House is spacious and perfect for our family. "
