"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Its a cute little cabin with a wonderful outdoor shower as an added bonus. The cabin is minutes from the Ohio border and you can see the lake from the back deck. There are a lot of great things to do in the area. We did the Erie Zoo, Football Hall of Fame, Presque Isle, and the Classic Car Museum. Lynn came to greet us soon after we unpacked. "It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. You do have to trek though that room and down stairs a way to the bathroom. There isn't heating up there that we...

"This hotel was the nicest one we have ever stayed at in the area. The room was above our expectations and the pool was divine! Nothing beats it for the price. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great ( ate myself sick on those waffles lol). My biggest complaint was we wished the tvs were a bit more modern in the room, at least a Roku fire stick so we could watch some YouTube on it. But that is likely just the gen z talking. Very nice and we will come again on our next vacation in the area."
