"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hîtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"Nice hotel, excessive heat in bedroom & no air-conditioning. So fans should be provided. Good restaurant. Departed at 7.30am on Sunday morning, breakfast not available before 8am. Would have been been nice to have tea, coffee and a croissant. Totally understand later breakfast on Sunday, but should offer something. "

"This was the perfect hotel for our stay near friends who recently moved to the area. The couple who run the hotel were terrific, helpful, personable, and efficient. We had dinner one evening at the hotel, and really enjoyed it. We especially appreciated the electric car charging point for our car. Je me suis entĂȘtĂ©e le parking Ă©tant presque vide. J'ai pu avoir une rĂ©servation en passant par l'application HĂŽtel.com. Cette rĂ©servation n'a pas Ă©tĂ© reconnu d'emblĂ©e. "The owner welcomed us and explained all the details. The room was a little cramped with 4 and unfortunately very hot, but beds were very comforable and plenty of bedding and fresh towels provided, as well as helpful simple little extras such as shower gel and tissues. I like that a poster politely asks that people save energy (helping to reduce their bills and therefore cost for customers) by switching off lights etc. when leaving the room.
