Situated in the peaceful and rural village of St Michaels in the Borough of Wyre, close to Preston town centre. The village has a restaurant and lovely riverside walks. Enjoy a quiet holiday by taking advantage of the great living space and garden area or venture out and visit the local area.

Manchester and Liverpool can be reached in about an hour by car, whilst Blackpool’s beaches, illuminations and attractions are 10 miles away, with a regular bus service if required. All the charms of the Lake District National Park are also an hour away. Fantastic property, great location, reasonably priced.

Beautiful 4 bedroom property, spacious bedrooms, lovely views, everything you could need for a longer stay. Ideally situated for visiting Blackpool & The lake District. Really easy check in. Absolutely magical time! All the comforts of home and great hosts! We would highly recommend.

Quaint Cottage

Hornby Cottage turned out to be the perfect location for a family of 7. With 4 bedrooms there was plenty of space. The back garden was charming and we enjoyed our time outside and the cows peeking over the fence as well.

Lovely large cottage with a large Garden with field views . Cottage was very well equipped , bedrooms very comfortable and kitchen dinning area was lovely and perfect for our family get together. Only improvement we could suggest would be the sofa’s in the lounge as they were not very comfortable and there is a low wall at the front of the house which the dog could easily get over so not fully enclosed and meant we had to supervise at all times as on a fairly busy road But this would not stop us staying again
