We had some weather related travel hiccups & the host was very kind to accommodate a last minute change for us. Our heartfelt thanks to her! "If you are visiting southeastern MN and need a homey place to lay your head, Rustic Valley is the place to land. Yvette & Jeff are very welcoming. They offer the lower level of their comfortable & roomy home for your stay. Deer Creek runs through their back yard. The grounds surrounding their home are perfect for a family gathering or a girls weekend. They are located close to the tourist areas of Lanesboro & Harmony. Both Yvette & Jeff cook up a delicious country breakfast that will keep you full til dinner! Their hospitality & warmth are sincere, generous, & welcoming. We felt like we were welcomed in like we were family."

"Spacious home, with lots of little sitting areas for everyone to have quiet time on their own. We enjoyed being walking distance from the Root River Trail. Short drive to Lanesboro where there was plenty to do.We were lucky to be in Lanesboro for the Rhubarb Festival, which was enjoyed by all. We also went to the The Mane Theatre for an excellent satire, "The Outsider". Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home."

"If your looking at this 5 star review, your probably looking for a getaway to the Driftless area. Well you found it! We have vacationed for many years in the Driftless. This hands down has been the best Driftless experience we have ever had. Karen and Paul’s passion for the land, stewardship of nature, animal welfare, and environmental conservation has left us in awe of our experience here. Of all of the VRBO hosts we have had, and they all have been wonderful. Karen and Paul have been the best of them all. Do stay here, but leave us a time or two for us to come back."
