"Well what can I say our stay was simply lovely. The photos do not capture the magical element of Les Patis. The properties charm was delightful. Tony and Pat are both great hosts and could not do enough for our family to make sure our stay was special. Tony even set up a DVD and TV in the communal room by the pool, for all the children staying in the Gites. Our children loved making friend's and now have pen pals in Hamburg, Dublin, and Wigan. "Pros: De ruimte om het huis heen, de rust en privacy, het contact met host Guillaume. Dagelijks hebben we gebruik gemaakt van de hottub. Geweldig! Een fles cider stond klaar bij aankomst. Cons: Het huis is ons inziens meer geschikt voor 2 personen. De tweede slaapkamer is de 'woonkamer' met slaapbank. Omdat deze kamer als slaapkamer werd gebruikt, hadden we binnen minder mogelijkheden om te zitten. Vanwege het mooie weer hebben we dat niet vaak als belemmering ervaren."

"The house was absolutely beautiful, and ideally situated just a few meteres away from the town square - but very quiet indeed. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Les Glycines, which is highly recommended. The downstairs space is fairly compact, so while I think it would suit a family with small children it would be a bit of a squeeze for a group of five adults. But overall we loved it; we needed a rest and that's what we had!"

"Annoncé pour 6 personnes, mais uniquement 5 lits et un canapé (non convertible) éventré sans couverture. Sol très poussiéreux.Venus à 6 pour une nuit, le séjour à tout de même été appréciable. Animaux acceptés et grand jardin agréable.La communication avec l'hôte a été très sympathique car nous avons demandé à décaler le départ d'une heure ou deux et nous a répondu que l'on pouvais rester jusqu'à la fin de journée. Je recommande pour de courts séjours."

10/10 Excellent

"We arrived 3 hours late due to problems with the Shuttle crossing.We were very tired and stressed, wondering whether we would find somewhere to eat. The restaurant was closing, but I spoke to the girl on reception who persuaded the chef to allow us to eat in the restaurant. The meal was excellent. Breakfast was good, basic and suited the old-fashioned ambiance of the hotel."

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting with rooms set in the gardens around the main building which dates back 500 years. The service was very good but I have two criticisms the pool umbrellas were fixed so not allowing sufficient shade. The hotel does not have its own restaurant other than for breakfast and bar type snacks for lunch / early evening. However the setting made up for everything."

"Nice hotel in the nice surroundings. Rather big and clean heated pool, facilities around the pool are well-maintened. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy enough. Substantial car park territory. Staff is very polite, professional and helpful. WiFi quality could be better. Breakfast is tasty however choices are rather limited as for 4 star hotel. Overall hotel is a bit outdated. Great minus - absence of AC on the first and second floor, which is a problem for comfy rest in a hot weather. Moreover there is no any ventilation holes in the rooms. Fan and open windows - not always enough. For better ventilation you need to keep open window and room door at the same time. Typical corridor view at afternoon - many guests put their slipers or trash can in a doorway as a door stoppers for stronger air draft. It is not a prety sight!"

"Great place to stay. Fairly central location, and having a restaurant downstairs was helpful if you're getting into town late. The room was a decent size, an elevator big enough for 2 with luggage (which is not always guaranteed in older cities) and a helpful staff. Biggest gripe was not having a second trash can in the room besides the tiny one in the bathroom... which is about as minor a complaint as you can have, really. Definitely pleased with our stay."
