Comfortable, charming, and spotless room. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed, and the front desk is not staffed after 7PM, so it’s been a rather odd experience. The heating system apparently isn’t working properly, so suite 202 is a bit uncomfortable on this cold night. This is our third stay at Merrill House…not quite up to the previous standards.

Our stay at Merrill house was lovely. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is good parking at the back of the inn. We had a smaller room and bed was slightly soft for our liking, but we slept well. We had a delicious dinner in the dining room and I recommend if you are staying there to book at least one night for dinner. There is a lovely bar downstairs where residence of the Inn can have a drink before dinner. Good choice of wines and spirits. Overall, a wonderful stay

Although we enjoyed our stay, we did not feel it met expectations, or was worth the price. The food was amazing, and setting was lovely. But some of what they had to offer was not available (cocktail lounge) and service was great but not always available. Our room was on the cold side despite turning the heat up, but I suppose part of the experience staying in a heritage home. Again, a nice experience but fell short of our expectations, and not reflective of cost.

We had an amazing stay, Merrill house was stunning, artsy, chic and a had very unique decor. Our room was like nothing we’ve stayed at before. Comfortable bed and attention to small details in the room and in the hotel that make the experience special. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was so delicious and unique. Strawberry cheesecake French toast is what I had. Would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent place to stay. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Shuttles/bus service nearby as well. Would highly recommend!
