"If you’re looking for a true “back-to-nature” Maine experience, this cabin delivers The host was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with, and the cabin itself is cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful Maine woods.No indoor plumbing means you’ll be embracing the outdoors—but it honestly adds to the adventure. Think of it as camping with a roof and a comfy bed.A couple tips: bring a flashlight for late-night bathroom trips and download directions ahead of time since GPS can drop.Fireworks were a bit of a downside during our stay, but it was the 4th of July weekend, so not a surprise.Overall, a fun and memorable rustic getaway!"

"This was our sixth stay at this wonderful cabin tucked away in the woods, and we love it more every time! Our kids spent most days in the water and also had so much fun enjoying the campfire and making s’mores. This has become a family trip we truly cherish, and we’re very grateful to our lovely hosts for another memorable stay."

"We had a gorgeous view from our room number 14. Brand new deck and good patio chairs and table. The room itself was comfortable with sufficient drawers, nice desk and chair, standard mini-frig and small microwave. The double bed was too high for me and I’m 5’ 2”; my husband had no problem. We used the AC one night and it’s a bit loud but it did a great job when we didn’t get a nice breeze from the bay. Our only problem was with the 2 chairs and table next to the sliding glass door. They look nice in the photo, but they are really low, so we had to sit on pillows to reach the table. One chair was blocking the deck door. We had to move it around constantly ; the chairs and table are way oversized and heavy for their space. Perhaps better suited for another type of setting. All told we had a nice visit in a tranquil inn with the beauty of unspoiled nature to refresh us. The photos of the views are 100% authentic. Thank you to the nice innkeepers."

"Everything was perfect for our needs. We stayed here for 3 weeks and traveled to various parts of Canada, using the house as our “home base” stateside. The house has everything we needed (and then some- it’s truly an home away from home); and our host was helpful with info about the surrounding areas. The house itself is gorgeous and clean. Definitely wonderful place just to get away from it all."

"Such a lovely spot for solitude and serenity. Saw a good deal of deer, even in the village cemetery! Absolutely restful nights on the daybed. Slept with the window opened and listened to waves and loons and the breeze! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Ken was a great host.The property was great.We had 2 of my kids visit with their girlfriends and also had 3 dogs with us.We were out most of the time ice fishing.Very warm and cozy"

"We absolutely loved our stay! We were surrounded by Loons the whole time. The fishing was very good. And, we were always cozy and comfortable, even on a couple cold and dreary days. There were personal touch surprises from the Host that made us feel like welcome friends/family. Thank you!"
