Alii Kai 3103, located in the heart of Princeville on the North Shore, is a standout among Kauai vacation rentals.

This two bedroom, bottom floor unit rocks incredible, uninterrupted ocean views from every room. The main living area is comfortable and open concept, with a full kitchen and dining area for four. You’ll find a TV in the living room, with cable and a DVD player provided for your enjoyment. The private lanai is just off the living room, with the most beautiful view of the ocean and steep bluffs. In the winter months it’s not uncommon to spot whales breaching and spouting just off shore! There is also an in-unit washer and dryer for your convenience.

Down the hallway you’ll find two spacious bedrooms. The master suite features two comfortable queen beds, perfect if you’re traveling with kids, as well as an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. You’ll also find a second flatscreen TV in the master suite, complete with DVD player. The second bedroom offers another queen bed, with a full bathroom just across the hall. Both bedrooms have incredible ocean views for you to enjoy without even needing to get up!

The Alii Kai complex amenities include a pool and gas grill for guests to enjoy at their leisure, as well as free parking. For your convenience you’ll also find beach towels in the unit that guests are free to use. This is a ground floor unit, but because the ground slopes down to the bluffs, you still have the luxury of a private, balcony-style lanai.

In addition to comfortable living and incredible ocean views, Alii Kai 3103 is conveniently located just a mile from shopping and dining options in the Princeville shopping center. For avid golfers, you’re a mere 15 minute walk from the clubhouse at the nationally ranked Makai golf course, and a quick 10 minute drive from the charming town of Hanalei and its world class beaches like Hanalei Bay and Anini beach.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, however there are ceiling fans in each room and screen doors on the lanai to help with airflow.

Million dollar view

Well stocked with towels and beach accessories. No coffee provided and one of the fans didn’t work. Other than that, it was amazing! Even left a flashlight that we used to go into turtle cave.

Amazing view!

This condo has a beautiful view over looking the ocean. The outdoor patio gives some privacy and a stunning view of the coastline. The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals for the family. Located close to Princeville and in a quiet community, there's a lot to do within a short drive - snorkeling, hiking, surfing, kayaking, or lounging on the beach. Lots of nice walking/biking paths, there's even a short path down to the water (it's slippery and steep so use caution). The rooms were clean and spaceous and plenty of room for my husband and our two kids.

Kauai Holiday

Great set up for 4-6 people. Kitchen is clean and well-equipped. Would be wonderful during whale watching season as there are ocean views from every space. Close to grocery store and not too far from other attractions on other side of the island.

Great ocean view, only thing better would to be in winter for the whales! Great view from all windows! Great view of sunrise and sunset with a Bali Hai view to top it off! Beds could be softer.

Amazing except for soiled carpets

We loved everything about this property except for the dirty carpets. The smell was so strong in the one bedroom that we couldn’t sleep in there. Location and everything else about the property is wonderful. The owners just need to get rid of the carpets!

Condo was clean and surprisingly large, with a nice quiet desk in the back bedroom for when I had to work in the mornings. The grocery store is close, Hanalei is a short drive. We saw whales from the deck and albatross flying and other little birds came to sit on the rail and entertain us.

Great place!

Everything about this place was wonderful - from the view to the accommodations. The only problem we had was with the TVs because they were locked on a guest setting. Contacted the property manager who said they would send someone out. Within 1-2 days the views made the televisions no longer interesting so we didn’t reach out again. If our children had been younger though it would have been an issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

Disappointed

We stayed 4 nights at this condo. Location was great. Convenient to everything. Had a nice time. Condo is outdated but the pictures depict it accurately other than the balcony. The pictures of the balcony make the balcony look much larger than it is. There is no table on the balcony and no room really to have one out here. Master bedroom had 2 double beds and second bedroom had one. Beds were very small. Not really large enough for 2 normal sized adults. There were plenty of towels placemats, hand towels, dishes and silverware. There were 2 very nice beach chairs and an umbrella to use which we enjoyed. The sliding door and screen were very difficult to open/close and the screen door really needs to be replaced. It only opened 1/4 of the way making it difficult to go through to the balcony. You were not able to open either of them with one hand. For what we were paying we could have dealt with all of this with no complaints except… on our last morning there we went to get one of the last hand towels out of the kitchen drawer and when we took it out there was a dead RAT in the bottom of the drawer. We gave it 2 stars on cleanliness because other than the rat it was very clean.

Almost perfect.

This was the place I was looking to escape to. I was there during the 1st anniversary of my wife's death. I did not want to stay at home nor did I want to go somewhere we had been together so I played 'ostrich'. I had never been to Kauai, we were supposed to come for our 25th anniversary but somehow ended up on Maui which neither of us were too happy with. I think she would have liked your place. As I am a tea drinker, I noted the lack of a tea kettle which would have made life easier as would a tea pot but otherwise the unit was great. I did have an issue with the tv on my next to last day. I called all three of the numbers associated with management and eventually found someone. He must have done something remotely as the tv came back on. Thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over the course of two weeks, my family stayed at four different locations across two Hawaiian islands. This condo had the best view of anywhere we stayed. It is worth it to stay here simply for having this balcony right by a cliff with 180 degree views off the north coast of Kauai. Words can't describe how beautiful it was.The unit itself was spacious for my family of five. It was very clean and well-maintained, and the property manager did a great job providing everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and it was helpful to have the washer and dryer. The unit was really hot when we arrived, but once we were able to open it up and get a cross breeze, things cooled down quickly.One thing I want to point out that is hard to see from the listing is the set-up of the bedrooms. The room shown with two queen beds was designed as the master bedroom for the unit. As such, the master bathroom is directly off of that bedroom, that bedroom has a vanity, there is more closet space, etc. The bedroom that is shown with a queen by itself and that I figured was the master is a lot smaller and across the hall from a smaller, not as nice bathroom. Deal breaker? No. But it was annoying to me as the mom in a family of all boys.

You Want Ocean View? This is Your Spot!

Lovely accommodations. We felt grateful for this unit with its spectacular views! First morning directly off the balcony was a giant fat rainbow. Tropic birds flying in front of your windows. See turtles down below with your binoculars. Seemed secluded yet groceries less than 10 minutes away. We will be back!
