Are you looking for a updated condo in Princeville for your vacation? If so... You have arrived! This wonderful 1 bedroom 1.5 bath condominium has it all, even a loft space with a queen size bed. Pride of ownership exudes here. The bedroom has a King size bed and full bathroom. This condo boasts an amazing lanai with beautiful views of the golf course and mountains as well as an updated kitchen and baths. You are close to the most beautiful beaches in the world. Located in the Sandpiper Condos, walking distance to stores is only 10 minutes and only 10 minutes to drive to beaches. Located across from Makai Golf Course, one of the top golf courses on the island. View of Mount Namolokama, filled with water falls. Here you can park the car in your dedicated parking spot for 209 (all yours). Professionally managed by Princeville Vacation Rentals. We hope to host you on Kauai. Aloha!

Great location and view

This apartment was very peaceful and has a perfect view of the golf course and more importantly, the mountains. We had breakfast on the balcony every day. It was quiet and a short distance to the Princeville shopping center, beaches and Hanalei. They have a couple boogie boards, beach towels and a blender for making fresh smoothies! Perfect spot for a couple.

Traffic noise

Beautiful house, stunning view, but be careful because just in front of the house there is a street with a lot of traffic all day long.

Visit was overall good. Road noise was an issue. Also, the pool asks for no glass, but there was no plastic dishes or glasses. That would be a huge help.

Princeville Girls Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable condo! It was very clean, close to town and offered many amenities. The pool and hot tub were great and there was a great farmers market down the road on Saturday. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Kauai many times and this community where we stayed was perfect. Great views, equipped kitchen and all around amazing home. We will definitely be visiting and staying here again!

Stayed here 10 days. Great property. Other reviewers were correct about it being close to main road in Princeville, however any downside was outweighed by the stunning views from every room and the spacious patio. Well appointed and accurate listing. Thanks

Loved it!

My husband has never stayed in a VRBO and was skeptical, but he’s a convert! We loved our home away from home and would happily come back to this place. It was clean full of little things to make it more enjoyable and lots of room for a family of four.

Best bang for your buck

The good: -Amazing location! -Very clean & spacious -Well decorated -Management was very responsive (we contacted them at 4am and they got back to us 5 minutes later) -Great view with big patio -Best bang for your buck! The bad: -No AC (we knew this going into it) -Very thin walls, you can hear EVERYTHING -No beach towels (we forgot ours lol) -Downstairs neighbors smoke a lot of weed and the smell leaks through -Downstairs neighbors can be loud, & they request you to be quiet with your steps (a little ironic) -Busy road in front but you cannot hear it if the fans are running & the road isn’t as loud as the other reviews make it out to seem The pros 100% outweigh the cons! We went for our honeymoon & loved it!

The Good and the Bad

The Good: * The view out the balcony was amazing. * The location was convenient to Princeville shopping and restaurants. * The unit was tastefully decorated and well stocked. *The owner provides 4 electric fans to help deal with the heat of this upstairs unit. The Bad: *The picture of the balcony in the listing is beautiful, but the railing hides a very busy and noisy road. * There is no air conditioning in the unit, so all of the windows needed to be open at all times to keep the unit hospitable. Because of the open windows, the neighbors hear everything. * The window in the main bathroom above the tub can't be closed, leading to a lack of privacy. The neighbor's balcony is only a few feet away. * The road noise is load due to the need to keep the windows open. Bring earplugs. * A neighbor below the unit smokes a lot of pot throughout the day and night, so the unit frequently fills with the smell of pot. * Neighbors below have a newborn. Signage in the units requested that we be extra quiet for the baby. It was not the relaxing Oasis that we had hoped.

We already love the location and the pool/hot tub (A+). We've been to the Sand Piper before. The only reason for not giving an overall 5 stars rating... The front room furniture, specifically the couch; it is in dire need for replacement. Otherwise, this condo was great for our family.

Loved It!

Second visit to Kauai and best place we've stayed on the island. When we booked this there were 0 reviews so we were taking a chance. It paid off big time as this place is tremendous. Yes, there is a road behind the condo, but it did not negatively affect our stay at all. The golf course and mountain views are gorgeous! The Princeville location is great as it's about a 5 min drive to a grocery store, shops and a few restaurants. Plus, only about 10-15 mins to get to Hanalei. We stared our trip off with 5 nights in Kapaa and this was significantly less touristy and significantly more laid back. The condo had everything you would need including the full size washer and dryer which was amazing since we are hikers. Really updated throughout and everything seemed pretty new. Small issue with the shower handle but management was VERY responsive and it was fixed within 30 mins. Reserved parking spot was nice never having to worry about finding a spot. HUGE bonus! Multiple options for beaches within a 15 min drive (Hanalei, Queens Bath, Hideaways, Secrets, Annini). We would for sure stay here again on a future trip.

Lovely comfortable condo!

This place was great. The condo itself looks just like the listing represents, except it’s smaller. (The photos make it look expansive). It was just fine for our family with two adults and two kids. Very clean, comfortable, modern. So nice to have the washer and dryer after full days of adventure. Lovely that there were a couple boogie boards and a bag of snorkel gear. Lanai was so nice for meals and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels. My only complaint is that it’s on the Main Street and the traffic was surprisingly loud. The Princeville area was a little swanky for our style, but very nice and beautiful. The grocery store and shops plus farmers market right up the road we’re great. We had a great stay.

Beautiful, well equipped condo.

They really thought of everything! This condo is beatifully remodeled (though smaller than it looks in the photos, but you knew that, right?) and it is equipped with everything you could need for your stay! Even high quality fans and a sound machine! They left a few much appreciated goodies for us on arrival, and quite a few useful things I assume had been left behind by others, and came in very handy! The views from the condo are magnificent and the strung porch lights are lovely. It's located just 2 minutes or so from the highway. The loft is not enclosed by walls, but it was perfect for our adult son and his girlfriend to have enough privacy once we closed our bedroom door in the evening. :-) A couple of things to note: the photos strategically block out the fairly busy road that is directly alongside the condo. It created quite a bit of road noise, but we used the sound machine to drown it out after the first couple nights. Also, the walls are thin and neighbors can be loud. (Use the sound machine!) We had some trouble with the parking situation (for which I knocked one star off check-in). If we were told about the parking pass we needed to hang in our car, we somehow missed it, so we got a violation on our window. We also had others park in our reserved spot a few times, and guest parking is fairly limited so that created some inconvenience. Some of the beach gear was in poor repair, as you'd expect. The cooler was great. Some snorkel equipment was broken (but there's quite a bit to choose from, and it's also cheap to rent locally) and the foam inside the boogie board was in about 3 pieces, and was unusable. None of these were deal breakers by any means. Just little stuff that wasn't perfect. All in all, we'd definitely stay here again if we find a chance to visit Princeville again!
