As an experienced traveler and VRBO guest myself I've come to appreciate how important it is to find a place to stay that is furnished with a top quality bed and bedding, a great shower experience, laundry facilities, sharp knives and surprise amenities.

Wake up in paradise, pack up the surfboards or snorkeling gear and take a short walk to Hideaways Beach or Pali Ke Kua Beach to swim with sea turtles and tropical fish.

Just a 5 minute walk will bring you to 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay Wellness Resort where you can enjoy a delicious Hawaiian buffet breakfast or coffee at their
take-out cafe with stunning views of Bali Hai waterfalls and the ocean. Book a massage or enjoy the public beach at the resort.

As the sun begins to set walk across the street to witness one of Kauai’s beautiful sunsets behind Bali Hai. It’s a local tradition and a truly unforgettable experience.

Dining options are just minutes away. The 1 Hotel Resort offers a range of culinary experiences, from Japanese fine dining and Hawaiian-inspired cuisine to fresh pizza, tropical cocktails, and a of course their breakfast buffet. For something more casual, Hideaways Pizza Pub—right across the street—offers hearty salads, wood-fired pizzas, and island inspired cocktails. Princeville restaurants are a 2 minute drive away, there are a variety of restaurants and bars to indulge in. Hanalei also has many delicious restaurants and it's a 5 minute drive away.

After a day of exploring, return to the comfort of your home, where remote-controlled split-system A/C keeps the space cool and comfortable. Sink into the luxurious full-body massage chair and unwind completely.

At the end of the day, you’ll sleep soundly on the king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress with an adjustable base, dressed in ultra-soft Cozy Earth bedding—(Oprah’s favorite, five years running). I have stocked the suite with thoughtful amenities to help make your stay comfortable, including a blow dryer, magnifying mirror, full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap, coffee, and multiple coffee brewing options (Keurig, drip, and French press).

A cooler
