"Unique B&B with an amazing warm, outdoor pool and hot tub, (in case it turns cold!) Breakfast a little expensive but very good. Had dinner one night and it was well presented and very tasty (and the prices were a lot more realistic than local pub meals). Rooms are lovely and could only be improved by installing air conditioning, well it was the hottest May on record! J & T"

"Stayed one night just before a local meeting, I only needed a shower and a bed to sleep. I booked the shared bathroom option which isn’t that scary as it sounds, it’s actually private but a few doors away on the hallway. Staff was super lovely, breakkie included for £46. 2 maintanance related issues (Room 111): bed is wobbly and the sink on the wall is also wobbly, worried it might fall off. Other than that, it’s correct at this pricepoint."

"I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be used by the council to house individuals with drug and alcohol issues, which created an uncomfortable and at times unsafe environment. There were visible burn marks on tables consistent with drug use, and noise levels were high at all hours of the day and night. Local businesses even confirmed this is an ongoing issue. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to relax or get proper rest, and I would not choose to stay here again."
