After honestly correcting a simple booking mistake (one guest instead of two) and promptly offering payment, the host initially seemed polite but slow to respond. Things turned serious when I accidentally locked myself out of the bedroom—without shoes or phone—and urgently contacted him via my smartwatch. He claimed he'd arrive in an hour but vanished for hours, ignoring multiple calls....

"Very clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. It was a bit difficult being on the top floor with several flights of stairs as I have a problem with stairs. Breakfast served in nearby hotel, although we only took tea and coffee."
