"One word… MAGICAL!!My Husband and I have been coming to the area for years, and this is by far the best trip we have had. Jodee could not have been any sweeter and responsive. We have found our new place to stay whenever we come for a visit. We were a little concerned with not having 4WD, but made it just fine in our Prius. The road back to the cottage is a bit sketchy in some places, but if you are careful and pay attention, you should be just fine. The name “Storybook Cottage” is perfect for this home, as you truly do feel like you are in a storybook. We enjoyed watching the squirrels and chipmunks frolic outside, and enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds as well. We had a daily visit from a cardinal, or visitor from heaven as I like to call them. We even had some daily visits from some bears. That was by far one of our favorite things. We always go to Cades Cove in the hopes of seeing a bear or two in the wild, and loved the fact that we had them right outside the door to watch and enjoy. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us Jodee, we will definitely be back in the future."

"The cabin was clean and well equipped except for the kitchen which could have used some pot holders and dish towels. The phone did not work as listed so there was no form of communication from the cabin.Other than that we really enjoyed the property. Being right on the creek was a plus."

"The cabin is in a great location tucked into the foothills of the Smokies. We really enjoyed the screened in back porch and even saw bears right from the porch. Check in was easy. Dee was very responsive. I didn’t like the kitchen, however we felt our stay was a good value."

"We really loved our time at Skier's Crossing! Our unit was clean with all the necessary items. We loved the layout and we had plenty of space for a family of 4. I especially liked that there was no clutter of knick knacks and such; it was a cool, homey, and minimalist vibe. I appreciated the guest manual as it was straightforward and full of actually useful information. We were located quite close to local activities and really enjoyed the scenic routes through the Smokey Mountains. The communication from the host/management team was clear and consistent. A perfect location for a family getaway!"
