"A lovely hacienda hotel with a mix of old and new. The main swimming pool is fantastic, and the food/drinks offer of a high standard (if expensive) with very professional service level throughout. Our modern room was incredible with outside shower, bath, terrace area, and bed. Although some of the original hacienda charm is being lost by the hotel's expansion, it is being sensitively done with beautiful landscaping and spa area. Note that there is building work going on overlooking the main pool, but not overly intrusive. For peaceful enjoyment, the hotel may also need to think about making one of the two other pools into a children's area or enforcing clearer etiquette on pool use. "
"There was a small kitchen area where you are able to cook your own food. The bed was nice and large, but a little stiff. The employees here do not speak English, but are very friendly and willing to use a translator to communicate. Overall I would definitely recommend these Cabanas. You're very close to the town of Chelem, which is a cute town, but not very touristy, so most people do not speak English. "
