"Quiet cabins! Helpful staff "

"The lady on the desk was the only good thing that happened to us on this stay. She was very pleasant. There were a lot of things we were displeased about. The cottage we stayed was very old, the screen on the porch was broken. Cold air was coming in on side with the AC unit as it was only covered by a board. My son’s bathroom had inverted hot/cold controls which took him a while and wasted too much water. The other bathroom sink knobs were rusty. It was totally not we expected from what was...

"The house was very clean. It was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy a quiet time within easy driving distance to bar harbor, Acadia, Schoodic. At 6’1”he felt a little tight in the shower. Just fyi. It’s a cute little house with a great porch to sit and view the ever changing weather and beauty of nature. So thankful for our time here. Gorgeous views."

"This Maine cottage has everything you need for a quiet stay on the Southwest Harbor side of Acadia National park - only 15 minutes away. Kitchen is well equipped. Cove that it is on is quiet. Would definitely come back again."

"The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. Basic and met our needs. We would come back again."

"Everything was great. House was very clean. As noted in description there is a second house on the property that is located between you and the water. No one was there so it was just fine, not sure if someone was staying there how it would be. Ability to access kayaks whenever we wanted was a nice touch."

"This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!"

"We loved staying at Acadia Yurts. Close proximity to many great restaurants and not too far of a drive to the national park or Bar Harbor, a little over 20 minutes. Property owners are very engaging, helpful and great at communicating with guests. The yurt has everything you could need, clean and comfortable. Situated in and around nature. A beautiful location, we would definitely return in the future."

"My husband and I stayed here and loved the boathouse. It was so peaceful and had amazing views of the pond. It's in a great location close enough to downtown areas and hikes but far enough away that it was really tranquil. We also enjoyed staying in for the evening and eating dinner on the dock. The kayaks were also a great touch and we loved our morning paddle. Also, everything was clean, safe, and in working order. This is definitely a spot to return to."

"My husband & I loved staying at this treehouse location. It was the perfect size, equipped with all we needed for our stay. It was about 30 min from everything we wanted to do while visiting Acadia. If we hadn’t stayed here, and opted for Bar Harbor, we would never have seen this part of the area. Plus, the kayaks were a fun activity. Would stay again!"
